Step Dad's Father's Military Trunk

My step dad's father used this in the military. It is 70-100+ years old. His military shipping info is on the bottom, but no dates. There is a ? logo with The Yale & Towne MFG CO logo. With a barrel key hole. No other identifying markings. It use to have leather handle straps on each side, but otherwise is wood with a lot of metal bars with nails. It has a super slight dome to it. Its fairly large at 25 x 41 x 21.5 inches.
