Every dinosaur had a gimmick and this one had a few including feathers and great size. It was 36 feet long and weighed about 7 tons. It was an ornithomimosaur which means ostrich lizard. Looks more like a crane to me. It was from the late Cretaceous and from Mongolia. Mongolia had different dinosaurs other than the better known ones like Tyrannosaurus and Triceratops. It seemed to be a sort of Australia at that time.
Deinocheirus was probably an omnivore sort of like a bear. It had long large arms and a tail with a feathered spade like end. I believe this lived in the same area as Spinosaurus which was very large but was a fish eater. My guess is that this dinosaur used its large size to wander about without fear but it was not an apex predator as it lacked the teeth for eating large dinosaurs.
