      Doubled as a wood stove room humidifier.... that's what my grandmother used hers for:)

      I have one very similar to yours.
      The lid of mine says Rome Stove Works.
      That company was located in Rome Georgia.
      My parents used the kettle as a humidifier on top of their wood stove heater for many years, just as Falcon61’s grandmother did.
      Thanks for posting yours.
      When I get mine cleaned up and presentable, I’ll post it.
