Pink Tango glass! It's both fabulous & elusive, which makes it extra desirable to a collector like me.
So, even though I now rarely purchase internationally due the extreme expense, if I see something super special, & it is a reasonable price (even while factoring in the high costs of postage & unfavourable exchange rates) I'll go for it. This vase was a no - brainer in that extent, found on eBay US, & thankfully no other bidders were involved.
It is made from two layers of cased glass - clear over a medium pink, with an applied black crest on the crimped top rim.
Measures 21 cm tall, & has a neatly polished out pontil mark.
In perfect condition, no marking on the base.
Czech origin, circa 1920s.
Fourth photo shows it with a variety of pink Tango glass from Loetz, Welz, & Kralik. As can be seen, the pinks found in Tango glass can vary quite widely. My new vase sits nicely in the middle ground as a mid toned, slightly "warm" pink.
Gorgeous group, Marin, with some real aristocrats. No mention of Harrach though. The very narrow conical one, usually seen in orange, is a Harrach shape. Should be around 30 cm./12 inches tall if it is Harrach.

Peggy, I "facepalmed" when I read your comment! :-)
I acquired that wonderful strawberry pink vase from Michelle several years ago, & she told me it was by Harrach at the time...
I'll blame being tired & slightly "overbeered" when I posted last night!
