My big find from the last Rose Bowl. It is a Northern Pike skin mount, please note there is no southern or central pike. A skin mount means it is the actual skin of the fish along with jaws instead of a plastic/fiberglass replica of the fish as is the case with most of these.
This example is 31" long. Actually a bit longer as I did not account for the bend in the pose. The largest examples was close to 5 feet long.
There is a formula for calculating which is W = cL to the bth I can't type it. anyway it is about 9 lbs. I cheated and used a graph. Seems like it would weigh more to me.
Next I will have to lower my sea shell collection to give the pike a bit more room.
Well ,fortA,,I’ve always said you’re no Piker :)
Nice !
Thank you very much Vynil!
PS perhaps a halbreder.
