This was my second find from my weekend road trip, found at the same antiques centre as the Welz candlestick.
A lovely example of Kralik's "Punched" decor, this small vase is made from a milky opalescent glass that shades to peach at the top. It also has an iridescent finish & looks even more pearly in person. It measures 9 cm tall, 13.5 cm across the top rim, & 7 cm across the base, which has a neatly polished out pontil mark.
The vase has a five way loosely crimped top rim, with a corresponding punched out hole for each side.
Made by Kralik, circa 1900.
