I would love the community's help in identifying this pin. I know almost nothing about it. I've had it for about 35 years. It was given to me by a family friend who passed away quite some time ago and I don't believe they had many relatives even back then. I believe it was a military pin of her husbands but I was quite young and the details are long forgotten. That would probaly make it British WWII or possibly even WWI era, but frankly I'm getting into guessing territory here. Sadly it has no identifying maker stamps. Whatever metal is hasn't tarnished. I assume it's some sort of plated base metal with some enamel. It's 23x28cm (roughly 3/4"x 1 1/4"). Help!
