Gorgeous colour on him, but as he is a snapping turtle, I guess he's quite fierce with his snapping jaws. I believe they have quite the bite?!
He's a very unusual dish too!
Thank you everybody for the thoughtful love

Lauren thank you for your terrific praise for this turtle, I really love the deep green color too. You are right, reading about them, they have powerful beak-like jaws with a sharp bite, and lifespan @100 yrs, sound almost prehistoric! I'm glad you liked him, a realistic looking fellow I thought
One of my faves for turtleware. Never seen this beauty before ! This provides a good little storage jar, but only if I had one... oh well !~
Thank you Phil for your super praise & great idea about how I can use this turtle, his hollow insides would be great to hide little treats in. So glad you liked this! Of course the love is also humbly appreciated
Many thanks Karen for loving this great turtle, he's pretty lifelike I thought & I'm very glad you liked him
Thank you Penny for loving this green turtle, very glad you liked it and always a delight to see you here!
I'm so happy you liked this green turtle JB, thank you so much for the kind love
