This blue and white tile reminds me of delft tiles but the style is different than any others I can find. It almost looks French to me--something about the way the scene is framed (scallops? on corners) . I think it has some age. Some crazing. A slight raised surface especially on the scallops (or whatever they are). Tile size is 6" x 4.5", white ceramic, glazed on top surface only.

There is a mark which I have been trying to figure out. No luck at all. Anyone a tile expert? I've reached a dead end on my own.

Looks like this is likely Russian. The style (corners and inner "frame" matches blue and white stove tiles found at Catherine Palace in Tsarskoye Seloin. I still don't know what company made it, though. Cyrillic alphabet used for mark and I can't translate it.
