Hard to say how old this first aid kit is. I would guess 1930s to 1950s. I am sure some of the contents have been replaced. Looks to be an industrial kit. Has torniquets and many large bandages but no Band-Aid type bandages which are the type we use at work 99.99% of the time and we have all sorts of equipment that can do some decent damage. .
This kit is filled with tons of fun stuff and I will make a seperate post for that. Plus a paer with some nice graphics. In the meantime this one has a very nice case. I like the chains that hold up the cover in the down position and some details inside blocked by the contents. It has a handy carrying handle plus some loops to hang it on a wall. I think I will hang it up right now.
Cool kit. Like the color..hmm went down a quick search rabbit hole about green first aid boxes..where's Keramikos at..
And what's in the back ground? Looks like a snake and an animal butt...
Thank you very much Dave. It might be a wooly mammoth.
Looks like a well stocked kit.
Hard to tell the age isn't it because people change the contents over time. Maybe immediately post war?
The really old ones used to have all sorts of potions and lotions that you would never be allowed to sell to the general public these days.
