Vintage Matchbooks Part II
Here's some more of this lot of vintage matchbooks. I found the Spearmint one pretty interesting..on the inside it has a little cartoon drawing. I also thought the The Old Gold one was also interesting as I've never heard of that brand before..so you get to see it twice.
Spearmint chewing gum, was introduced in 1893.
The sale of chewing gum in Singapore has been illegal since 1992.
None of the shops in any Disney theme park sell chewing gum.
It's true that your body can't digest gum, but it does not stay in your stomach as folklore suggests..it gets excreted just like everything else.
Love the Jacobsen 2 Stroke Lawnmower Matchbook.
2 Stroke Lawnmowers are not made anymore.... Thank You EPA :(
That's going next door to my sister...thats their last name. And she's the one that picked these up at a garage sale for me.
Descendent of Knud Jacobsen?
Apparently that Matchbook is from the 1930s..they were made in the U.S. from 1920 to 2020..think they're made in the UK now.
