1950s Canadian made slinky toy. Green box with white text and illustrations. The lid of the box reads "Famous Walking Spring Toy - Slinky - U. S. Patent No. 2415012 - Canadian Pat. No. 448515 - Made in Canada - R.D. Fleck and Company Limited - Oshawa, Ontario. These were pretty popular back in the day, I know we had one. I wonder how long it would amuse a child for today ….

Yes I remember the song too..guess those commercials worked! I also remember the story..how his clumsiness led to this toy..lol!

Haven't seen one of these in many years. We had one back in the 1970's. The original box is great!!!
