Danish photographer Mary Willumsen (1884-1961) worked during the period 1914-1922 at the bathing establishment in Copenhagen called "Helgoland". She photographed only women and sold her images exclusively as postcards. A police investigation in 1922 cleared her of any wrongdoing. It was her main source of income. Maybe one of the ladies is your great grandmother ? Who knows !

      Woo Hoo
I cleaned out a photographers attic and found some choice photos from the 1940-50s era. I burned them as I promised to do. I was chastised for wasting such art, but I promised. And I got to keep so much else.
