I acquired this piece from a church basement in (b.f.e.) rural Missouri. This style of artwork is unfamiliar to me. Can anyone tell me about this framed art? I really am not for sure but it seems to be a piece of material I don't know what it's made of. It seems to have been painted by hand, the material was folded at one time because you can see the creeses, it also looks like the fabric was glued and taped to a piece of cardboard then these tack-like diamond shape pieces hold the cardboard to the frame all the way around. It's 13.5" tall and 16.5" wide. Does anyone know the country of origin and possibly time period Also what is the type of artwork if yall can help educate me please I appreciate it

It's very difficult to tell from the pictures..could be painting on silk. The image is very similar to many others made in panels..
