Here is a 4"H amberina glass duck made by Kanawha Glass of WV ca 1970s-1980s, w/ orig label
Note this is not the Kanawha swan, which I previously posted and is seen for comparison in photo #4

Nice colours, I especially like the blue of the swan, it's very restful and calm and as for the duck, usually they're a squatter shape so it's nice to see a more elegant design

Thank you for your fabulous compliments

DejaVu I'm so glad you liked my pair of Kanawha birds! You know I thought I had most of the Kanawha animals then came across this duck which really does resemble a swan, so I looked thru my cabinets & sure enough found the blue swan. Kanawha was a somewhat mysterious glassmaker, there are only a few limited 60s-80s catalogs of their glass on a CD-ROM disc, so whenever you discover more it's always a surprise

Lauren I'm really happy you liked the different glass colors of these water birds, I think they contrast very nicely! Yes the duck is a more elegant shape, the long neck is more unusual & swan-like... some have called the duck a swan actually, but as you can see they're very different. When I first posted the blue swan it was with a brooch combo so maybe not as memorable, I love that blue also

Thanks MrsT & Blammoammo for the love, and MrsT for your sweet compliment. I think they're both cute too and was happy that I found the blue swan to make a comparison picture as the other guy is "swannish" as well
