"Scottie Twins" Doorstop
I can find similar ones on the internet, but none are exactly like this one that I found at a local antique shop. I assume it is from the 1920s/30s. There is no maker's mark that I can see.

Nice! Dave is absolutely correct. These were also referred to as the "Listen Scotties". I have a couple of the doorstop versions in my collection.
I think this version is 1/2 of a set of bookends.
