This was a great win on eBay AU - a striking example of Art Nouveau iridescent glass. The seller had it listed as Loetz, but I'm not sure - any informed opinions are most welcome.
It is made from a single layer of green glass with an iridescent finish, & measures 18.5 cm tall, 4 cm across the top rim, & 6.5 cm across the base. There is a pierced brass collar sitting on the recessed top rim.
The vase has a distinctive form, with four deep indentations running vertically down the neck, & four smaller dimples around the bottom of the vase. Inside the neck is extremely narrow due to the indentations, & it looks very difficult to clean - there's some residue I'd like to remove but it could be a rather fiddly job.
    Bohemian origin, circa 1900.

Welz made several vases in green irridescent glass with four dimples and four long indents. I think this is another. I posted mine here. ID'ed by the same shape in

continued from above ......... by the same shape in a known Welz décor.
      Sorry about this Marin.

Many thanks, Peggy - that's great to know! Welz had not really factored in my speculations as their iridescent glass seems to be relatively rare here compared to their other decors.
      I'll check yours out!

And when you do find iridescent green Welz it's usually being sold as Loetz at a Loetz price. Also metal collars of the type on your vase are rare for Welz. All in all a very good find. I refuse to be envious lol.

Peggy, I was so lucky with this, even though it was sold as Loetz...I've bought a few things from this seller before & they have all had pretty reasonable start prices...& thankfully the sole under bidder did not push me much further from it. I'm thrilled to think I've scored an example of iridescent Welz, too!

I love the way the collar complements the vase shape.... very art nouveau
