I have searched Mundlos machines on various websites and have not found this model. I have found pictures of one with the flywheel on the outside of the frame, but no dual pulley and no badge like this one.

      Hi again, madhamm. :-)

Thanks for the additional pictures. Let me put in a link for the related post:

I haven't been able to find another machine exactly like it, either; however, it seems to have a lot of the hallmarks of a Mundlos, not the least of which is the trademarked "Original Victoria" name.

That ornate "M" in the treadle foot pedal seems to be another clue that points at Mundlos.

What does the engraved number "773618" in the slide plate represent?

Per the OP of the sewmuse site, the serial numbers on old Mundlos vibrating shuttles were engraved on the rear slide plate. However, it seems that a lot of them have two different serial numbers:

      http://www.sewmuse.co.uk/Mundlos%20sewing%20machine.htm

It has the tension assembly protruding from the face plate, a D-shaped needle plate, and a serial number 'cartouche' (with the number 21600) in the bed in front of the pillar like a Singer model 15, but it has a hex screw near the needlebar assembly like a Mundlos vibrating shuttle.

Then there is the stenciled "C.E." on the pillar below the stitch length assembly, which is where the model number appears on a lot of Mundlos VSMs.

That beautifully inlaid table has a circular recess on the right hand side near the pillar that might have housed a pin cushion, which was a popular feature on German VSMs.

There are two extra holes in the tabletop in between the holes for the treadle belt (are these for the two speed feature?).

I just don't know. I'm afraid I'm going to have to refer you to one of the dedicated VSM forums.

The Facebook VSM group is huge, and reportedly has a lot of knowledgeable users, as well as a huge library of manuals; however, it's a 'black box' to anybody who isn't a member:

      https://www.facebook.com/groups/VintageSewingMachines/

The leatherworker forum, as its name suggests, is primarily for enthusiasts who like to sew leather; however, the knowledge base there is both wide and deep. In fact, in recent years one of their members was responsible for providing a serial number chart for Bridgeport Singers, information that was long thought lost:

      https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/50-leather-sewing-machines/

The victoriansweatshop forum has a lot of very knowledgeable users. In fact, if none of their members knows the answer to a VSM question, it's possibly unknowable:
