Hello everyone!!
With Halloween just around the corner, I thought it'd be the perfect time to post my vintage cast iron "Headless Horseman" doorstop. This one is another rare find, in fact, it's only the second one I've ever seen. I have a few Halloween doorstops, but my others are cute little reproductions, which I'll post a bit later. I'm not sure who the foundry was that cast this one, and it is not marked, but it has all of the telltale signs of being a National Foundry piece, though I'm not certain of that. It measures 11 7/8" tall, 8 3/8" wide and weighs 8.5lbs.
Thanks very much for stopping in to see my Headless Horseman doorstop!!

Oh wow this one is absolutely the best!!!!! one of my favourite Halloween movies is the Legend of Sleepy Hollow with Christopher Walken, playing the headless horseman
Laurabelle,
Thanks very much! I've only seen one other, so I have to assume it's quite rare. I love that movie and Christopher Walken played that part so well. But, then again, he plays every role well. He was even amazing on Saturday Night Live!!!
