Kaprosuchus was a crocodile that lived in the mid Cretaceous 95 million years ago. The name has something to do with boars tuxks as this one has some very long teeth like a boar. This one was considered to be semi-terrestrial due to the eye sockets. Land animals have different eye sockets than land animals, I believe it is because land animals are designed to scan on a horizontal plane or some such. The real thing had a head close to 2 feet long. Probably 15 feet long.
The toy is 8.25 inches long. Perhaps I'll get all my prehistoric crocs together for a party.
Very cool!! Wouldn't want to encounter the real thing! Inspires me to post my cast iron alligator.
