    I am wondering if you can help me identify the letter M marking, I assumed Monet but if so exactly what year or decade was this beauty made. ?
    I tested all the stones with my PGT 2 and every stone tested positive as Diamond
    This stunning bracelet belongs to a dear friend whom inherited it from her paternal grandmother who is still alive.
    My next question is: do the orher marks read 1/5 TW? If so what do they represent? Thanx for looking. have a great day.

      I don't think it's Monet, because Monet seems never to have used just an "M," but rather the Monet name fully spelled out.

      If it's truly costume jewelry, I'd be tempted to say 1940s, because that's when a lot of costume jewelry makers somewhat ironically started using sterling silver. The base metals they usually used were in short supply during WWII.

      This commenter claims John Hardy uses an "M" in a circle as a hallmark (although, I have to wonder why a jeweler with the initials JH would use an M):
