Hello everyone!!
Our CW friend fortapache inspired me to post this cast iron crocodile with his prehistoric alligator post this week. Though you may think that this is a bit non-characteristic of my usual posts, you'd be right, but I do have a few reptiles in my collection.
This cast iron crocodile was made sometime during the second half of the 20th century. He is so incredibly detailed in every way. Though there are similar reproductions out there, this one is a true original. You'll notice that the mouth of this one is opened further, and the lower jaw turns downwards, than the reproductions. He measures 10" long 4" tall and nearly 7" at his widest point. He weighs 3.90lbs.
Thanks for stopping in for a look!!
