Hello everyone!!
Another fun item I recently acquired is this tumbling acrobat toy. It's iron and was made in Germany in the early 1900's. This toy is still in wonderful condition and, I must say, a lot of fun and almost addictive to play with. When you tip the acrobat he begins to tumble down the rails and when he gets to the end, he tumbles back to the other end. I wish I could post a video of him in action. As you can see, he was built to last and measures 9 1/2" tall. The rails measure 14 1/4" long, 4" wide and 6" tall.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look at my antique tumbling acrobat toy!!

Love the hand painted details, great piece!
Lata,
I agree. And the fact that most of the paint remains after all these years simply amazes me. Thanks very much for the love, comment and for dropping in!!
