Antique Hotel Doors. Bought these antique doors from a local, nonprofit, architectural salvage store recently. There are three of them and the cost was $280 for all three. They are made of wood and the center and small spaces are clear, beveled glass. I just couldn't keep my eyes off of them and couldn't just leave them there. The only history the staff could give me is that they came out of an old hotel in downtown New Orleans, Louisiana. They also told me that they had been in storage for many years. I have a long hallway in my house and 12.5 foot ceilings. I plan to put them in the hallway, along the wall, so I can see them as I come down the stairs from the second floor. I think they may be aesthetic style. They are very dirty (covered in dust). I plan to clean them up and put wallpaper behind them to look like pictures on the wall. Can anyone tell me if I have the style correct, or share any other information about them?
Not sure why it rotates the picture when I upload it. The picture is of them standing on a piece of plywood. Not sure how to rotate it correctly.
Cool doors. You might try contacting the local historical society and see if they can identify them. It would definitely increase their value if you can establish provenance..
Thanks, dav2no1!

Possibly Art Deco. Lovely doors whatever they are. Great find.
