Hello everyone!!
With The holiday season upon us, I thought I'd kick it off by posting a vintage Santa Claus doorstop. This one was produced in the early 1930's. Though there are many many reproductions of this big fella, this one is the real authentic original. The reproductions are poorly painted and typically have the number "2" embossed into the backside between his boots. I love this big fella. He measures 15" tall, 7 1/2" wide and weighs in at nearly 7lbs.
I also happen to have this same Santa Claus design in a set of vintage fireplace andirons. I'll post those sometime later this month.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!
