    Beyermann
    (10 items)

I bought this lovely little piece recently. Is it a vase? Or a hat pin holder, perhaps?
It is only 11 cm and has the motif with roses and thorns that can be seen on some other Beyermann&Company glass.
I think, it has a different and exciting design!
It is sold as "Goldberg / Beyermann" and that is very interesting! Did they cooperate in some way?

This is a piece I can learn a lot from, I think.

Beyermann, I love the subtle colors on this one.

Dunno about a Goldberg/Beyermann collaboration, but it seems likely.

Here's another beautiful piece attributed soley to Carl Goldberg:

      *snip*

Carl Goldberg (of Haida) copper clad glass vase in the Jugendstil style (German Art Nouveau) - The glass has a speckled amber finish to make it look like metal. The vase is wavy topped and flared and the copper pattern is like stylised branches and berries. The copper has not been polished for many years and has achieved a fine dull patina. At the 1900 Paris Exhibition the little known Carl Goldberg won a bronze medal for this style of glass 'Made to look like Metal' similar to this piece -he was one of only a few Bohemians to gain any sort of medal at the very French Exhibition.

keramikos thank you for linking these photos and vases together! An interesting idea. It would be so exciting to manage to find something about their collaboration. If there was such a thing. Or not.
