I've had this in my possession for a number of years. It was included in a random auction lot. I can't seem to find any information about it. It's old and the beads are plastic...it has mink poms and the ends are two huge buttons. I'm guessing it might be from the 50s, but really don't know. If anyone can tell me what this is, I'd be so grateful.
Appears you have a vintage necklace..here's one with earrings..

If you Google "mink and lucite necklace" you will find several examples..
Since it has a button on each end, I doubt it’s a necklace.
I think you might have a muff holder….there might be a more correct name….I’m not sure.
The item would go across the back of the neck and the ends would hang down in the front.
The buttons would fasten on to a muff that ladies used to keep their hands warm. When the lady removed her hands from the muff, your item would keep the muff hanging right there, handy, ready for her hand to go back inside.
Hmm I must've just woke up when I viewed it. I didn't notice that it wasn't attached!
