I acquired this, welded, hand made dipper or pitcher. Looks like Aluminum but is heavier than that… identifying number TAM 119476 BC
I have had no success trying to look it up.
11 1/8” long, 2 1/4 high, 3 1/4 diameter, not including the spout… help! I’m very curious about it. It came from the cellar of a 200 year old house in Limington Maine
I’m glad you all like it, but what is it???
I've been Pouring it over in my head and but I'm a Dipstick who hasn't a clue?? But I know someone out there will get a Handle on it!!! No Pun intended!!
Stuff
If it wasn't for the numbers/letters stamped into it, I would have guessed it was something someone made at home for a specific purpose that might, or might not, be guessable. With the inscription, however, I have not even a guess. Though probably not for pouring something hot or molten like lead for bullets. It might be a prototype for something.
I’ve concluded it was for pouring lead or something, but there are no remnants of such! But a wonderful little mystery
For pouring melted wax into candle molds, possibly. I’m guessing.
Yougottahavestuff, funny guy??
