Hello everyone!!
I hope you're all enjoying this holiday week. As mentioned in my previous post, I have many Wind In The Willows related items in my collection. One of those many items is Mole, complete with original tag. He has such amazing details and was produced and distributed by Longwood Gardens around the year 2000. From his wool clothing, suede boots , spectacles and fishing pole, no detail was left out. These are really hard to come by as there weren't many produced. Standing up, he measures about 8" long and is weighted. So, as with all of the characters, he has a bit of heft to him. I also have Ratty and Badger, but have been unsuccessful at finding Mr. Toad. I'll be posting the others soon. Steiff produced a set as did Charlie Bears, which I also happen to own those sets as well. But, those are not quite as detailed as the Longwood Gardens versions.
