THE ORIGINAL 1968 ALBUM RELEASE FROM THE LATE GLENN CAMPBELL, "WICHITA LINEMAN". UPON ITS RELEASE, IT WENT TO #1 ACROSS THE BILLBOARD CHARTS.
BESIDES THE TITLE TRACK, GLENN DID A NICE COVER OF OTIS REDDING'S "SITTIN' ON THE DOCK OF THE BAY", INCLUDED ON THIS LP.
RELEASED ON THE "GREEN" CAPITOL RECORD LABEL.
THANK YOU,
THOMAS H.
Great song.
My favorite from him!
I am the lineman for the county
Beautiful voice he had, and great songs on this album
Cisum, Very cool. :-)
The single "Wichita Lineman" came out in a time when I didn't even like country music, but I liked it -- and Glen Campbell.
