The clock ran from the moment I put the battery in. The clock appeared in Leon Hatot's catalog. The back of the clock has the old ATO regulator on it, which does nothing with today's batteries.
The clock case is signed on the right hand side just underneath one of the bird's leg, it is hard to read.
There were two models of this clock made, the other model had a small light in it to illuminate it. The light put a drain on the battery so it was discontinued.
Lalique's design here is more Nouveau than Art Deco.
