Bought six large scrap jewelry bags from the thrift shop yesterday. While I didn’t find much gold and silver scrap I did find a couple very nice pieces. The first is this YSL (Yves Saint Laurent) gold tone metal Chinese medallions necklace. The chain holds five medallions total switching between floral motifs, and figural/landscape (Man Standing in the middle ground, with a bird in flight in the foreground, and a structure/tree). The necklace has a hook clasp and has the YSL markings/tag. It’s in great condition with little to no plate loss, corrosion, or broken pieces. Measures 26 1/2” long unclasped. Could be a part of the Chinese Collection of 1977? Any additional info provided would really help.
