Hello everyone,
Getting close to the end of my Kenneth Grahame book posts with Bertie's Escapade. This was the last book written by Kenneth Grahame before his death in March 1959. It was written and copyrighted in 1945, but the illustrations, by Ernest H. Shepard, would not be copyrighted until 1949. The book is in great condition and still retains it's original dust cover which is fully intact.

Thanks Jenni!! E.H. Shepard was quite an amazing artist. I actually have a book of his works that has some some incredible illustrations he did for authors.
