    Found this Bennett in Texas somewhere between the Brazos and Fort Belknap can anyone put a date on it . Would like to know how old it is maybe it belong to . It is 21" long made of carbon steel and possibly hand forged ?? Any help would be much appreciated.

      Looks like a Civil War era bayonet. Actually it is Civil War or close to that.
