Hi everyone!!
One more Wind In The Willows book to post. It’s a rare 1908 second edition. As you can see, the first edition was printed in October 1908 as was the second edition. This was printed by Methuen And Co., London, England.
The book is still in really nice condition, considering it’s 116 years old. Though you’ll notice how the pages all have rough edges, that’s actually original to the book and is just how the book was cut by the printers back in 1908. I treasure this book and I am proud to have it in my collection.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!
Scott
How wonderful to have this fabulous rare edition of Wind in the Willows, the cover art is beautiful
Jenni,
Thanks so much!! I really like the cover artwork too, but the artwork on the spine of the book is my favorite. The book actually has a handwritten message, from Christmas 1908, on the first page, but I only have space for four pics.
