HELP- identifying the first word on this label. Also identifying the maker of this COOL immaculate tiger jacket.
The feel of the jacket is not a cheap costume. It’s well made.
Is the first word? Fiddlers? Biddlers? Costume & Designs VCD #1300 Los Angeles California.
    2nd label is Mattsons Hollywood.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Beautiful tiger jacket. It is probably Fiddlers Costumes & Designs as there was one in Los Angeles CA but only came up on an older non- secured site

Hard to trace if a co is out of business, I know. You can call some of the current LA costumers, maybe it changed its name, or if they have a website send a pic of your jacket, good luck :)

Hey everyone- THANKS so much for all the help and comments.
Dav2no1- so it may not be vintage at all? I looked at the fb and it might not be vintage after all? The FB looks to be current but retro type clothing mostly in japan. Thats a bummer. But that wouldn’t account for the stamp on the back. I’ll keep trying to find some more info. The jacket was found in Taos NM, where many Hollywood star have homes.

I looks SO well made. I hope you can research it and find some movie in which it was worn. Very cool!!
      How/Where did you acquire it?

Oops! I see u answered my question while I was typing it.

Yeah, it is well made, heavy. Everything about the fabric , lining and pockets are well tailored and made. The outer and interior fabric both feel of good quality along with the stitching. It has a vintage feel to it as well. But i could be wrong, as it wouldn’t be the first. I’ll continue to research.

Wow! it reminds me of one of my favorite blues legends: J.B. Lenoir! https://www.pinterest.com/pin/559994534902004825/
