Very interesting painting, handmade thick paper with ink sifts in the style of Da Vinci (letters and sketches), depicting a portrait of a woman. In terms of style, it is reminiscent of the Italian Futurism from the 1920s. The signature of Ivan Kalvoda and the year 1992 is at the bottom left.

Ivan Kalvoda was born on 20.06.1941 in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
He attended the Industrial School of Graphics in the Czech Republic from 1956 to 1960. In addition, from 1962 to 1968 at the AVU in Prague with Prof. V. Makovsky, assistant S. Hanzík and Karel Lidický, studying academic sculptor
He then completed a postdoctoral training at the Academy of Visual Arts in the Netherlands.
He is devoted to sculpture, achievements in architecture, painting and drawing.
