Steptoe1, Google Lens found a near twin on eBay:

      *snip*

Pendant Northern black. Sterling silver 925 with a star. USSR. vintage

      *snip*

      https://www.ebay.com/itm/394738815801

The description of "USSR" provenance in the eBay listing could explain that one letter I had trouble deciphering at the leading edge of what looks like "ACH" on your pendant finding.

I couldn't quite decipher it as a Roman alphabet character, because it probably isn't. It's probably Cyrillic:

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyrillic_alphabets

      https://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/russian.htm

      https://www.lexilogos.com/keyboard/ukrainian.htm

However, I couldn't seem to get "HASN" or GASN" to translate to anything meaningful.

      Steptoe1, You're welcome. :-)

I wouldn't bother trying to take a better picture of that "????" mark, because to my eye, it's perfectly readable once I 'assume' (yeah) it's Cyrillic instead of Roman alphabet characters. All four characters have one long underscore underneath them.

I went back and did an Internet search for the Cyrillic character version, and that produced results.

It seems to be an abbreviation for a state architectural and construction oversight agency:

      Gosudarstvennyy arkhitekturno-stroitel'nyy nadzor (GASN)

      (from Google Translate):

      *snip*

State Architectural and Construction Supervision (GASN) - checks the correctness of pre-design work and issues a conclusion on the conformity of the constructed facility, controls the correctness of its maintenance.

      *snip*

      https://1nadzor.ru/gosudarstvennyj-arxitekturno-stroitelnyj-nadzorgasn/

If you scroll down a bit at this site, you'll see an image of hard-hatted cartoon characters with the Cyrillic abbreviation on the back of their clothes:

      https://keramzit-serpuhov.ru/articles/registratsiya-obekta-v-gasn/

I can easily envision a large state agency, just like a large corporation, offering jewelry to their employees. They wouldn't make it themselves, but would have the agency abbreviation inscribed/stamped on it.

The reason I called the eBay pendant a near twin instead of twin is because the decoration on the front of it looks the same as on your pendant, but isn't isn't clear that all of the various marks on the body of the pendant and the findings are identical.

I can't tell whether the silver marks on yours are the same as on the eBay pendant, except that they both appear to have "921" (sterling) inscribed/stamped on them.

Here are a couple of silver marks sites:

      https://www.925-1000.com/Frussia.html

      https://www.silvercollection.it/russiansilverhallmark.html

I didn't see that star image.

You might consider contacting the vendor of the Ebay near twin.
