Hello everyone!!
Now, here's something you won't see often. It's a cast iron spittoon in the form of a top hat. This one dates back to the mid to late 1800's. It's the size of an actual top hat and is quite heavy. It's porcelain enamel lined inside, though some of the porcelain has chipped off over the years. I can only imagine this sitting in a bar or saloon in the 1800's and how it must have looked. It took quite a while to clean this one up. It measures 7 1/4" tall, 8 1/4" wide and 10 1/8" long. It's quite heavy and weighs 12lbs 7oz!!! I've always had a strong passion for antique top hats and cast iron items, so this is the best of both worlds for me.
