This is the exciting second part of the Alamo playset. This time featuring the figures of which there are many. Note I left out the Indians even though I needed more antagonists. I only have 30 Mexicans. I could use another 70. These are the Shako hat figures. The original also had round hat figures that were originally from the Zorro set. The defenders here are mostly the Boonesborough pioneers playing the part of Davy Crocket's group. The silver figures were early Marx cavalry figures. Not present are the cavalry figures used in some Fort Apache playsets. I have those but it seemed there are already plenty of defenders and I just wanted to use the figures that came with this set. I will use them sor the Battle of San Jacinto. Please note these are period correct figures.
In the meantime I set up all the figures this afternoon and I was heading to take photos Crackers jumped on the table and knocked down all but three figures. She and the other two cats ran into the bedroom and Crackers wisely went under the bed. I locked them in there and they will remain in there until I get this posted.
