Hopefully Waki will see your post..maybe he can tell us more?
well waki is on this for a very long time , but waki is highly overestimated as an assessor and lack the skills, have to learn the possibly YAKSHI. BODHISATTVAS- UNISHA,S , garments etc and don,t know much about it
as far as i can see we define this as elongated ears, ( In oriental Buddhism and eastern Asia, large ears are taken as auspicious because they signify wisdom and compassion. This may also be one of the reasons; the Buddha is depicted having long ears, because he is the enlightened one, the compassionate one. He is said to have the ability to hear the sound of the world.)
But a lot of dieties got elevated eares
well Dave his guess is as god as mine, it looks like Indian headgear and not Nepali
IMO it is a fantasy scene, could be Nandi and Shiva and without trident snake and drum ???
could be a Nanda and Krisna without flute ( well actually theere is a horn in his hand)
actually the Nandi ( ought to represent DHARMA the things you ought to do and don,t in life
and let,s say in the SHIVA variation the Nandi significance i bow to god ( vehicle principle you according , you respect the vehicle ( om swetha vahanaya nahana),maybethe horn got a signalling function
and in Krishna Nandi variation , you would expect the eternal waiting position of the NAndi
this is probably Indian brass , they probably lowgraded it with an alloy
Let,s say it is an AFFORDABLE ( curvilineairty is out , see fingers and toes)and differences in depths of the incisio of the linings)
probably all coming )from india there are a lot of lotus leaf designs ( single lotus-leaf pedastal probably)
picture 3 i got na idea , being half naked naked does, not say much , these are victorian influences and late islamic influences , it isnot YAKSI related , some type of simple dhoti garment
best ghuess seeing also the subservient posture ,a servant in aqn processions honoring a diety , best i most likely talk complete BS
NOW I DON,T FEEL LIKE IT ANYMORE END OF STORY
GREETINGS WAKI
