This was a super win on eBay AU last week! The bidding was competitive, but I was able to score it right at the end, even though I was actually in an appointment! Thankfully it was right at the end of the appointment so that worked out nicely as well.
The vase is much more impressive in person than in the eBay photos. It measures 20 cm tall, 10 cm across the top rim, & 7.5 cm across the base. It is made from dark green glass with a strongly iridescent finish & a martele pattern. The vase is a very simple shape, conical in form with a flared out top rim, which is subtly scalloped at the edges to create a flower shape.
There is a slight pontil mark on the base.
Bohemian origin, circa 1900. Currently I am uncertain of a maker, but perhaps Rindskopf or Kralik.
Nice eBay win!! It's beautiful!!
Many thanks, Scott!
I think I have something similar to this example.
