Unopened vinyl record. What’s strange is there is no barcode on the record at all. The SD is 19118 Atlantic. Can anyone give me some info on this record as to why there is no barcode on it?

I can ,,,, first do you know who Crosby stills Nash and Young is
I hope so,,
This is an Excellent Record
Now on to your question
This record was released March 1970
Pre barcode
The first barcode to be scanned
a pack of Wrigleys gum was in 1974
So this is an early edition and has value
Later versions of the record will have the barcode
Albums didn't get barcodes till 1979..
Outstanding album and artists!! Wonderful condition as well.
And if we must go a bit further 45s were released with the barcode in 1983 while the LPs like Dave said was 1979 I think the first record was
Elvis Costello armed forces
in addition the first record with code
was released in 1988 in Czechoslovakia
Why ask questions and then never return
