da ming wanli nian zhi 1573-1619

this is a very late representation, even very much then the fin de siecle de siecle revival period ( 1900) it is not the cross hatch and dots in the dragon plating

      likely made around 1960

apparently , i raised some smoke and mirrors

wanli period pieces got different characterristics the color is denser and brighter ( Shunzi period) and even the good lets say fakes could be very expensive ( like qianlong period 1736-1795 and the revival of the revival period around 1890 the so salled fin de siecle around 1890 ( late guangxu period 1875-1908)

we can shut this all out for a lot of reasons, the early pieces at leaqst bij means of density and vividness of the colours, late guangxu also but this also has the restriction of the finesse of plating of the dragon belly , the patren ought to be cross-hatching and ( refenined)

the stickiness of the pattern is rather insufficient , and the fluidum ( the flowing of the scene and the characters are to shallow = to watery

also there is dispersion and overpaint

this is a cute vase , but this is not so refined,
