This is a very early Fisher AG7 (“anti-gravity, Apollo 7) Astronaut Space Pen. In speaking with Fisher, this AG7 pen has the Apollo 7 CSM (Command and Service Module) emblem, that was available from the Apollo 7 flight (Oct 1968) up to the Apollo 11 flight (Jul 1969). After Apollo 11, the present Shuttle emblem has been in use. This pen also has early aluminum male and female threading when, since the late 1960s to early 1970s it’s been brass.
The AG7 was patented in 1965, and first used on the Apollo 7 space mission in 1968, and has been used on all manned space flights since.
Great Piece! your post reminds me of a particular Seinfeld episode :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3Vm_ksWreM
Cool pen. I have a Fisher version. One of my favorites to write with.
