This is a promotional item from the 1935 - 1936
"America's Exposition" in San Diego.
I bought it at a watch and clock mart
that was held in Arroyo Grande, CA.
I was born in San Diego,
so it has some personal meaning to me
--- but it's a lot older than I am!
A key placed in it will swing out for use when the thumb button
is moved from one extreme of its travel to the other.
