Hello I’ve just rediscovered this lovely fruit Bowl
I think it’s a antique or close to it, it’s pink can’t remember what this type of glass is called at the moment as not seen them for a long time, no idea if these are selling well, they are from the carnival glass era I think
Pink depression glass..
Dave was reading my mind probably ,i got the same thoughts, but how do we now it is not the revival part from the seventies
ok benefit of the doubt
Yes depression glass sounds right and I think I’ve seen this same design for sale online, surprisingly they are dirt cheap.
Ok I’ve just been looking at pink depression glass for sale and seems some sell for big money nowadays
Often it's confusing because several companies used the same or similar patterns. And some continued them for many years. So there's big difference in price between vintage glass and newer ones. As well as makers. On top of that more often than not people just don't know what they have.
A good example is ...every person. Thinks they have Murano glass and advertises as that because they know it's more valuable. Then someone searches, see that and assumes they have Murano with no proof and no actual work to identify their piece. Happens daily.. even experts get fooled and confused
