Hello I’ve just rediscovered this lovely teapot which is one of my favourite finds out of all the teapots I found, I never got to find out anything about it, hopefully someone will know more.

there are different designs of a chasing the pearl design by means of dragonsmost of the time they are what chinese call LEiwen design thunder pattern A pattern made up of juxtaposed squared spirals. and clouds
somtimes they are lingzhi design ( mushrooms )and sometimes they are FU design ( bats) or the so called 9 dragon seawave design mark i don,t know , = mark is brandnew
clouds and thunder design in the chasing the flaming pearl is what the chinese call

They are also known as yunwen (??; ??; 'cloud motif'), auspicious clouds, lucky clouds, and sometimes abbreviated as clouds (?; ?; yún) in English. _ YUNWEN = CLOUDS leiwen = thunder
there is also an blazing steam pattern = Leiwen - YUNwen are the most known
Thanks apostata great information I tried to take it in and interesting to hear what the design is called, so it makes sense when I look at it now, it looked unused but had signs of age when I found it what made me think it was vintage
