I’m thinking it’s a Chinese swallow tiffin box but I’m not sure and I’m curious if it’s old

strange all signing is out , it looks to bleach for republic ,i think this in a "Bing Shen batching , i am guessing a type of fin de siecle guangxu , but i am guessing
so give or take 1896
