Here is a really cool vase I got on eBay AU.
It is made from deep cobalt blue glass, with a very fine spiral ribbed texture. It also has a slight spatter, mostly visible on the bottom. The iridescence is super intense, perhaps enhanced by the finely twisted ribbing.
It measures around 13.5 cm tall, 7.2 cm across the top rim, & 9 cm across the base. There are a few small chips on the top rim. I think this most likely would have had a metal flower frog or collar but still displays very nicely without.
Bohemian origin, circa 1900.
Maybe an example of Kralik Ribbed Twisted?
Very nice..... wish there was someone who made the frogs I'm missing a few too.
Many thanks, Bernard, & totally agree!
